Dr. Thomas Hunt is a retired university professor and has taught hundreds of students in the one-on-one private lessons format. He has many years experience in crafting a learning environment that is both challenging and engaging.

He is a former member of major symphony orchestras in Innsbruck (Austria), Wiesbaden, and Essen (Germany). In the USA he has performed with Lyric Opera Chicago, the Savannah Symphony, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the Gainesville Chamber Orchestra, the Wisconsin Wind Orchestra, and numerous chamber ensembles. 

Brass lessons: Dr. Hunt teaches all brass instruments at every level, university, high school, middle school, and elementary.

In La Crosse he performs with the La Crosse Wind Symphony and various chamber groups. 

As much as he enjoys performing, Dr. Hunt's true passion is for teaching brass instruments especially French horn. His teaching studio in La Crosse, begun in 2022, has grown quickly to include students of all ages and abilities.
