Cassie Davis graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) May of 2023, majoring in Communication with an emphasis in media studies and double minoring in Arts Administration and Music Performance for the violin.

Originally from Minneapolis, Cassie began playing the violin in the fourth grade and pursued private lessons throughout high school. Cassie continued her violin education into college, studying under Dr. David Phipps from 2019-2022 and continued her senior year with Dr. Michelle Lee Elliot. She had the privilege of being UWL’s concertmaster from 2019-2023. Awarded the Hoeschler Quartet scholarship all four years of college, she has learned a multitude of skills from her peers and professors. 

Cassie continues to be active in the music world post-graduation by performing in pit orchestras such as Onalaska High School’s “Addams Family”, 2023, “Into the Woods” at Appleseed Community Theatre, 2023, and La Crosse Community Theatre, “Fiddler on the Roof”, 2023. She is currently working for the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra in an administrative position and is manager of the La Crosse Area Youth Symphony.

She is excited to work with the students of Reed Studios and continue to encourage a love for classical music for all participants.
