Linda Lebakken graduated from Viterbo University in 1995 with a BA in Music Education.  She studied violin with Ms. Nancy Oliveros of Artaria String Quartet; she also studied conducting with Mr. Mark Taylor.  Mrs. Lebakken has been the orchestra/strings teacher for the Onalaska School District since the fall of 1995.  She also served as conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra in the La Crosse Youth Symphony orgainization from 2008-2019.  Mrs. Lebakken currently performs with the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra.  She has also performed with the Winona Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Symphony Orchestra and the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, as well as Mannheim Steamroller, Moody Blues and Ann Murray.  Mrs Lebakken is married and has two children, ages 18 and 21.
