SUMMARY OF LESSONS AND VACATION SCHEDULING:

Lessons take place through the entire year - including the summer.

The year is divided into four thirteen-week quarters.

Fall Quarter: Septemer, October and November.
Winter Quarter: December, January and February.
Spring Quarter: March, April and May.
Summer Quarter: June, July and August.

ELEVEN LESSONS AND TWO VACATION WEEKS ARE SCHEDULED IN EACH QUARTER.

Below are the holidays when vacation time is scheduled for most instructors.

Labor Day (one week).
Thanksgiving (one week).
Christmas and New Year's holiday (two weeks).
Spring break (one week).
Memorial Day (one week).
Summer (two weeks - dates vary).

Teachers make adjustments based on their personal and professional obligations and notify their own students of specific dates on an individual basis.

SCHEDULING SPECIFIC LESSON TIMES:

New lesson schedules are usually arranged before the beginning of each school year and before each summer quarter. Once the schedule has been set up, it may be difficult to change lessons times but your instructor will do their best to accommodate your needs. Families with two or more children, especially those who study with two or more instructors, will be given first priority in scheduling.
