SUMMARY OF LESSONS AND VACATION SCHEDULING: (as of September 2009)

Lessons take place through the entire year - including the summer.

The year is divided into four thirteen-week quarters.

Eleven lessons and two weeks of vacation are scheduled in each quarter.

Fall Quarter: September, October and November.
One vacation week for Labor Day.
One vacation week for Thanksgiving.

Winter Quarter: December, January and February.
Two vacation weeks for the Christmas holiday .

Spring Quarter: March, April and May.
One vacation week for Easter (or for a designated spring break).
One vacation week for Memorial Day.

Summer Quarter: June, July and August.
Two vacation weeks for the Fourth of July holiday.

Some instructors may need to adjust some vacation dates based on their personal schedules and obligations.

SCHEDULING SPECIFIC LESSON TIMES:

New lesson schedules are usually arranged before the beginning of each school year and before each summer quarter. Once the schedule has been set up, it may be difficult to change lessons times but your instructor will do their best to accommodate your needs. Families with two or more children, especially those who study with two or more instructors, will be given first priority in scheduling.
