Kathryn moved from Milwaukee to La Crosse in 2005 to attend Viterbo University and graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance with an emphasis in pedagogy. She regularly accompanys high school and college musicians and for several years, has lead choir rehearsals and accompanied for church services at Trinity UCC in La Crosse, WI.

Kathryn is a member of MTNA, WMTA and serves as vice-president of the local music teachers association (LAMTA). She currently is a member of the WMTA administrative board holding the position of "Award of Excellence" chair.

Kathryn has been teaching at Reed Music Studios since 2008 and currently works with over 40 students. She is very enthusiastic about teaching and loves helping students of all ages and experience to feel confident and motivated in their musical abilities. Kathryn has a gift for helping children with special needs - she ensures that every student enjoys musical success!
