Judy has been a member of the piano teaching staff of Reed Music Studios since 1998 and currently teaches approximately 40 students at Reed. She is also the Coordinator of the Preparatory School of Arts at Viterbo University in La Crosse as well as a piano instructor within that department. In addition. Judy is an adjunct faculty member of Viterbo University's music department serving as a staff accompanist and teaching applied piano. She received her degrees in piano performance and music education with a vocal/choral emphasis from Viterbo University.

Since 1976, Judy has been the pianist/assistant director of the La Crosse Boy Choir. Well known as a collaborative artist in the area she has accompanied soloist and choral groups throughout the United States and Europe. She has served as a professional accompanist for the National Association of Teachers of Singing in Wisconsin, and worked in that capacity as well for singers entering the Metropolitan Opera District and Regional Auditions in Minneapolis, and the Schubert Club Auditions in St. Paul. Judy is also a staff accompanist for the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria each summer.

A member of the Music Teacher's National Association and the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association, she has consistently received the "Award of Excellence" for her teaching. Her students have received top ratings at the state WSMA solo/ensemble auditions as well as First Place and Honorable Mention awards at the WMTA state piano auditions, and a First Place Regional award for the MTNA Composition competition.
