Originally from the Madison area, Jamin is currently a guitar performance major at UW-La Crosse. Jamin first picked up the guitar as a young boy and then also decided to pursue a classical education in viola studies. In addition to viola and guitar, he has a background in piano and draws upon his experience in all three of these areas to provide a balanced lesson environment for students of all ages and ability levels. In his "free time", Jamin is also majoring in statistics and economics at the UW- La Crosse!

Jamin has participated in school orchestras in addition to both the Philharmonia and Youth Orchestras in the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in Solo & Ensemble Festivals and has countless audition experiences from which to draw upon.

Jamin is proficient in many styles of guitar music ranging from acoustic, tapping, classical, flamenco, blues, rock and some jazz. During the past two years, he has played with the UW-L Guitar Ensemble and is currently studying with Dr. Richard Pinnell.

Jamin is looking forward to working with beginning guitarists at Reed Music Studios. He has over four years of experience teaching swimming lessons to children whose ages ranged from 3-13, therefore, he is very confident and excited about combining his success in teaching swimming lessons with his passion for guitar. If you are looking for someone who is patient, motivated and knowledgeable then you’ve found your teacher. Jamin is available for teaching on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
