BAD WEATHER??? Are you wondering if your lessons are still on like normal???

On snowy or stormy days, always assume that you do have lessons unless you hear from your instructor. The studio does not follow the area school district's cancellations. Many times, travel is not advised in the morning, but by the afternoon when most lessons take place, conditions have improved. Your lessons are always on as scheduled unless you have been notified. Make sure your instructor has your daytime contact numbers if lessons would need to be cancelled on short notice.

GENERAL CANCELLATION INFORMATION:

If you cancel a lesson, your monthly payment amount is not adjusted.

If you cancel a lesson, the instructor is not obligated to give you an alternate lesson time to make up for your absence - and it should not be expected. Sometimes, rescheduled lessons are offered at the discretion of the instructor and will be considered only if notice of the cancellation was given at least 24 hours in advance. Many instructors have full schedules and make-up lessons are not an option.

Cancellations on short notice (same day as the lesson) and "no shows" are never rescheduled.

We understand that some illnesses and emergencies are last-minute in nature. Although we sympathize with the situation, it is still very unlikely that these lessons can be rescheduled. It is a standard policy among professional instructors nationwide that missed lessons are usually not rescheduled and are never reimbursed.

In the event of poor weather and unsafe driving conditions, it is your decision whether or not to attend your lesson. Because of the spontaneity of this situation, instructors are not obligated to adjust payments if you choose to cancel due to the weather. However, if the instructor has made the decision to cancel the lesson, he or she will do ther best to reschedule if possible, or credit will be given toward your next monthly payment.

On occasion, instructors may have to cancel lessons due to illness, workshops, conventions, competitions or performances. Lessons missed because of the instructor's absence will always be rescheduled or credit will be given toward your next month's payment.
