About Us

The Reed Music Studios, founded in 1987, is an organized music studio providing private instruction to students of all ages and ability levels in piano, voice, strings, and guitar. Our instructors are trained professional educators, all of whom hold or are completing degrees in music. Organized on the foundation of excellence in professional music instruction, the studio utilizes top quality instruments, and a fine, modern facility. Reed Studios is also equipped with student computers featuring the latest in music theory educational programs.

Regular recitals are held, giving students opportunity to apply and demonstrate their skills and talents in a performance setting. A special Honors Recital is held annually. Students are selected by audition to perform in this recital, and various special awards are presented by the faculty. Participation in all performances is optional and is the decision of the student.

The instructors at Reed Music Studios are committed to providing students with the most effective and up-to-date teaching methods and technology available.

Reed Music Studios is able to order lesson books, supplemental solo collections, popular books and specific repertoire selections from most major publishers. Students and parents can enjoy the convenience of having their needed lesson materials available on the spot without having to make a trip to one of the local music stores. If students need a piece of music that is not in stock, we can place an order and have it within 7-10 days. Parents: keep this in mind as an idea for birthday or Christmas gifts - you can send an email through our website and ask for music to be ordered as a surprise for your son or daughter!
